Why Wage Revolution?
Why Wage Revolution?

At the dawn of civilization a strange and extraordinary concept was given to ancient people. Its origin was divine and it basically stated this principle: That each person on planet earth has the inalienable right to their own “Promised Land” just by the fact that they exist here. This “Promised Land” concept was not based on an earned portion but instead on an inherited portion by simply belonging to the family of man.

This early idea was that every person regardless of their race, creed, or color,
was to be entitled to their own cherished and prized piece of the “Promised Land”.

But what is the “Promised Land”? It simply is a large enough piece of earth that would allow someone to cultivate and harvest in return for a “good life.” Not to live in poverty and not to live in extreme excess. The idea was that someone could apply their individual labor to a secure piece of productive land and because of that labor applied diligently and consistently they would be able to live sufficiently enough and have some left over. They also could seek out life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (sound familiar). They could also have leisure time, a savings account, and proper medical care, freedom to worship, and also be able to give back to society.

This concept allowed people everywhere to not just “scrape by” in a meaningless, day to day drudgery, but to live a “good life.” You might say “ah the American Dream.” But this dream predates our own society by more than 6,000 years. It even predates the great Roman and Greek civilizations.

Sadly, this idea has gotten tragically lost in today’s world. In fact this idea has been lost for most of civilized history, but not lost to human carelessness. But instead, lost because of the most basic human weakness, Greed. Although Michael Douglas made a valiant attempt to defend greed in his famous “Wall Street” speech, in the end, if one man desires to have all the pie at the expense of everyone around him, then many will suffer.

Wage Revolution is the resurrection of this very original early idea. To give back to the people their piece of the “Promised Land”. In the case of Wage Revolution this means to give people in poverty a piece of the “Promised Land” in the form of a decent, secure job. Secured from the aggression of others and secured from the internal harm one can do to ones self.

Wage Revolution is not about taking away from the affluent. If a person works hard and accomplishes much with labors of integrity and honor then give them their earned recognition. There will always be a leader of the pack and there will always be the last place finisher. Yes we should compliment the winner, but we should not disregard those who come in last. If we ignore the “Promised Land” concept we become a society of discontents. We then foster oppression, poverty, sickness, and a curse that will encompass the land. If we support the “Promised Land” ideal everyone succeeds. Women’s Wage Revolution is simply giving low income single mothers a piece of the dream by allowing them to clean and maintain your home. By treating yourself to a maid, you give a family the gift of a life out of poverty.

Women’s Wage Revolution works on the anti-greed business model. This simply means we are operating a business ministry where most of the profits go to the workers and not the top management. The idea is that The Wage Revolution business ministry is there first for the worker and not for wealth accumulation for the upper management. By keeping overhead and management in frugal and budgeted control there are enough surpluses for everyone to have a piece of the “Promised Land.”

In closing we must add that we have not forgotten about others in poverty besides women. Our goal is to firmly establish the Women’s Wage Revolution and then bring forth the Men’s Wage Revolution in a similar manner. No one deserves poverty. Come join the Revolution. Yes we can wipe out poverty in this country and else where, and it can be done without spending one tax dollar, or one charity handout, or any government assistance program. We need your help. Come join the battle. Together we can change the world and the original divine concept can be fulfilled for everyone.
